A “Breakthrough” Film, A New Way of Living

“Breakthrough” is an independent documentary film about the life of a raw-vegan family. It is a film about the raw-vegan diet, a new way of living and eating, a “breakthrough” in maximizing human potential.

“Breakthrough” is available on DVD at online. Brought to you by The Garden Diet and produced by Storm Talifero the film brings you into the life of the Talifero family who eat a 100% raw vegan diet. With four children ranging from 1 to 11 years old the film shows an active, healthy and creative family life. The Taliferos home-birth, home-school, and work from home.

Storm has been a raw-vegan for 30 years. At 57 years of age he appears decades younger with an athletic body-builder’s physique and the lifestyle of an extreme adventurer. Jinjee has been a raw vegan on and off for 12 years and at 38 years old she continues to rejuvenate and increase her fitness level. Jinjee home-birthed her four children and the film shows her stomach back to flat only 10 days after giving birth to her fourth baby. The birth was completely painless and ecstatic. Jinjee compares her two cooked-vegan pregnancies and two raw-vegan pregnancies crediting the painless births to the raw-vegan diet.

The family is shown climbing mountains, doing animations, playing music, preparing food, eating, gardening, and visiting the doctor for a check-up. Charts compare nutrients in raw food and cooked food. Storm’s 300 lb. nephew is filmed over a three month period losing 75 lbs. on the raw vegan diet. Jinjee and Storm talk about the deaths of their parents and Storm’s many family members who have died of debilitating diet-related diseases. They talk about why the raw-vegan diet is a no-brainer for them.

In an exhilarating sequence of scenes Storm’s 30-year old son Snow who was born raw-vegan and spent much of his life as a raw-vegan is shown climbing 7-story high Gibraltar Rock in Santa Barbara with no ropes.

As independent film-makers the Taliferos are marketing their film without a distributor. “The Internet has a huge network of people interested in the raw-vegan diet, veganism, and alternative health. As we have had our website for about 6 years we have a large email mailing list of people who have signed up for our newsletter” says producer Storm Talifero. “These are mostly people who are interested in our products. We are excited about the response to our film so far and the opportunity the Internet presents for film-makers to get their message out to people directly”.

BREAKING NEWS: Troy Davis’ Final Letter; Death penalty makes America a nation of murderers

BREAKING NEWS: Troy Davis’ Final Letter

An overwhelming international support to save the life of death row inmate, Troy Davis couldn’t stop yesterday’s execution. Many were hopeful after the United States Supreme Court issued a reprieve that delayed his death warrant for three hours. He was executed last night at 11:08 p.m. after the high court gave the green light to kill Davis claiming that the convicted murderer had plenty of opportunity to prove his innocence.

“I’d like to address the MacPhail family,” Davis said, according to The Associated Press. “Let you know, despite the situation you are in, I’m not the one who personally killed your son, your father, your brother. I am innocent.

“The incident that happened that night is not my fault,” he added. “I did not have a gun. All I can ask … is that you look deeper into this case so that you really can finally see the truth.

“I ask my family and friends to continue to fight this fight,” he said. “For those about to take my life, God have mercy on your souls. And may God bless your souls.”

Parker: Death penalty makes America a nation of murderers

I stayed up late Wednesday night in hopes that the U.S. Supreme Court would call off the execution of Troy Davis. Instead, at 11:08 p.m., he was pronounced dead.

One minute he was lifting his head from the death gurney, pleading his innocence in the killing of a police officer 22 years ago and beseeching God to bless the souls of his executioners. Then the drugs entered his veins, he blinked a few times, appeared to yawn, according to witnesses, and entered the sleep from which there is no waking.

Over. Next?

Would that there were no next. I’m no wimp when it comes to justice and spent the first few decades of my life backstroking in the Old Testament. An eye-for-an-eye was fine by me. But I have matured and these days wear glibness — and righteousness — like a hair shirt. Satisfaction can never come from the termination of a human life except to protect one’s own and that of one’s dependents. Thus, our barbaric practice of capital punishment, premeditated and cold-blooded, is, since we’re in a biblical mood, an abomination. That we grant the state the power to end a citizen’s life is a harrowing enough thought. That we do so even when we know with certainty that sometimes innocents are killed is beyond comprehension.

In Davis’s case, opinions clearly differed. Seven of the nine witnesses who once identified him as the shooter have since recanted. Even so, a federal judge ruled last year that the recantation testimony cast “minimal doubt” on Davis’s conviction.

Minimal? Isn’t any level of doubt enough?

Apparently, even the Supreme Court didn’t think so. After delaying Davis’s execution for four hours Wednesday, the court allowed the execution to proceed.

The fact of those recantations surely should create sufficient doubt, not to exonerate Davis, but at least not to kill him — even if you support the death penalty, as many sane and lovely Americans do. That said, I’m not so sure a sane and lovely person would or should cheer the death penalty, as audience members did recently upon Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s expression of pride in his administration of ultimate justice. More convicted individuals have died in Texas under Perry’s watch than in any other state.

Though death is nothing to celebrate, I understand the desire for justice. I’ve experienced the horror of murder up close. Three members of my extended family have died at the hands of others and I wish the perpetrators a toasty eternity. But my killing them doesn’t restore anyone’s life. It merely makes me a killer.

Nevertheless, I don’t judge those for whom the ultimate justice brings solace or that most prosaic of catharsis — closure. Everyone understands the reflex to destroy the destroyer. But I do judge us. This nation. This society. This culture. The urge for justice and its close relative, revenge, is human, which is by definition also to err.

For justice to have any meaning, it must also mean that no innocent person should ever be executed. Some argue that the relatively rare and unintentional death of an innocent, if not justifiable, is at least tolerable toward the greater end of punishing the guilty, which is most often the case. During years of covering criminal courts, I was mostly surprised that anyone ever is convicted given the strict standards of proof.

Thanks to DNA testing, we also know that scores have been on death row who shouldn’t have been. Extrapolating, we can safely conclude that some innocents have been wrongfully executed. These facts alone should be all we need to retire the guillotine in hopes that we might yet evolve to a higher level of humanity. Never mind the other factual arguments that capital punishment is not an effective deterrent and that, given our appeals process, executing someone is more expensive than keeping him in prison for life.

When we join together to administer death, we become something other than a civilized community of men and women. No matter how we frame the arguments or justifications, we become executioners. Where there is doubt, as there seems to have been in Davis’s case, we become murderers.

No one is recommending that Davis should have been given a free pass. Life without parole is no picnic. But we might sleep easier had we not participated in killing a man without the moral certainty that he was guilty.

The End of the Mayan Calendar & Transparent Consciousness (Red Ice Radio interview with Carl Johan Calleman 9.20.11)

22 09 2011

“Carl Calleman first became interested in the Maya and their calendar during a trip to Mexico and Guatemala in 1979. He felt that the purpose of his life was linked to this people and their calendar. In 1986 he took up work at the Department of Environmental Health at the University of Washington in Seattle, which brought him closer to the Mayan area with frequent visits. His research into the Mayan calendar produced three books. As the end of Mayan Calendar approaches on the 29th of October, according to his calculation, Carl joins us to discuss the 9th and last wave, which was initiated on March 9, 2011. We’ll talk about many developments that have manifested since then. Carl will talk about the driving force and shifting of consciousness into unity (or transparent) consciousness. We discuss the economic system, its demise and replacement. He’ll share what he sees coming and comments on where we are going. We’ll also talk about divine providence, inherited to all if we trust it. Then, we discuss Comet Elenin, which Carl says is similar to the Hopi’s Blue Star Kachina. After October 28th, what is next for us? What will change if anything?” – Red Ice Radio

Frequency Changes & Higher Unified Field Reality (Red Ice Radio interview with Penney Peirce 9.18.11)

22 09 2011“Penney Peirce is one of the early pioneers in the intuition development movement. She has worked with various institutes training hospital CEO’s, health care consultants, and philanthropists in the development of visionary skills. She also works with The Arlington Institute, a group of futurists in Washington, DC. Penney has written five books. In this first hour, Penney begins talking about time and the acceleration process as well as what is causing this. She’ll explain the effects and manifestations of higher and lower frequencies. We’ll talk about finding your home frequency in order to function at your optimal level and withstand negative forces. Then, we’ll discuss what she calls the “higher unified field reality.” Penney brings up death and reincarnation and says those who cannot merge into the higher unified field, will reincarnate onto another planet more appropriate for their current energetic state. Later, we talk about the body vehicle and how to align it to the higher field as well as the importance of emotional and spiritual maintenance.” – Red Ice Radio

About her book:

FREQUENCY: The Power of Personal Vibration
Foreword by Michael Bernard Beckwith

In Frequency, Penney Peirce, a pioneer in the field of intuition development, leads us into new territory, exploring the dynamics of energy, personal resonance, and our accelerating ultrasensitivity. A simple shift in frequency is often all it takes to change depression to peace, fear to enthusiasm, and snagged situations to magical results.

Because science has long taught us to rely on what we can see and touch, we often don’t notice that our spirit, thoughts, emotions, and body are all made of energy. Everything is vibrating. In fact, each of us has a personal vibration that communicates who we are to the world and helps shape our reality.

In Frequency, Penney Peirce shows you how to feel your personal vibration and work intentionally with energy to transform your life. By learning to find your “home frequency”—the highest, most natural personal vibration you can attain—you can maximize clarity, minimize struggle, and discover new talents and capacities.

Awakening to the new reality that a higher frequency reveals can help you dramatically improve relationships, find upscale solutions to problems, and materialize a life that contains everything you need. Frequency shows you how to manage your energy “state” so you can stay on track with your destiny—and reap the benefits of the life you’re truly built for.

“Many independent indicators tell us we are about to experience a rapid transition to a new world—an evolutionary jump of profound proportions that will change the essential nature of who we are and how we understand reality. This extraordinary, practical book is no less than a personal primer for becoming the new human being who will co-create the new world. Transcending the coming chaos is possible with the toolset you will find here. This book is an unprecedented gift for the person who is ready to evolve.”
John L. Petersen, Founder, The Arlington Institute and Author of A Vision for 2012: Planning for Extraordinary Change

“Seeing ourselves as energy beings is the most important breakthrough of our times. In Frequency, Penney Peirce clarifies many of the energy principles that have previously been unacknowledged, but which we can now intentionally use to keep ourselves healthy and improve the realities we live in. I laughed out loud when I read this book, and enjoyed it immensely.”
Richard Bartlett, Author of Matrix Energetics

“In this potent and evocative exploration of the new art and science of frequency dynamics, Peirce brings profound knowledge and speculation that inspires as it excites. If applied across many disciplines, it provides a basis for new ways of being and doing, health and creativity.”
Jean Houston, PhD, Author of Jump Time and A Passion for the Possible
